什么时候用the others,什么时候用others
the others表示“在某一范围内剩余的全部”,others表示剩余的一部分,有时可以翻译成“别人”.
我举个例子吧
There are 100 people in the classroom.Sixty are teachers,the others are student.（教室里面有100个人,60个老师,40个学生.）the others指代“在某一范围内剩余的全部”,即100个人剩余的那40个（学生）
He is glad to help others.（他乐于助帮别人）others表示剩余的一部分.
特指的时候用 the others, 比如，there are 7 apples on the desk, one is green, the other is red.
