Equity financing is by far the greatest curse and scourge to America in
its history. Follow the rationale and the logic/mechanics behind it
and you will find all the underlying causes for our deteriorating
society--from homelessness to uninsured/underinsured Americans, to a
miserably failing educational system, to job offshoring/outsourcing and
rampant indirect crime--fraud, theft, scams, drugs, home invasions,
carjackings, identity thefts and other digital crimes, and domestic
violence, etc.... It IS the cancer of capitalism and freedom.
Shutting down the all the exchanges and NASDAQ will fix 90% of our
country's socioeconomic ills without any further effort.
Besides, what is wrong with issuing bonds? Or taking out loans? Or
taking out +/- 90 day notes, etc...? Besides it being one the most
honest and ethical ways of raising capital? Not to mention stable.
True, it isn't perfect but, it is by far better than the shit that goes
with corruption in the stock market and the brokerage and PR
institutions involved with them.

Of course they do and some of it is legitimate. Unfortunately, too much
of it is far less than what the remaining portion of our "moral"
society regards as ethical. Whether it is in regards to the consumer
or employees.

proportion and influence, and have even worked to erradicate national
borders and destroy heritage and have pushed in a big way to 'mix' world
population willy nilly for 'economic efficiency'. Muslims taking over
Europe? Look to corporate influence. Mexicans taking over US southwest?
Yep...free trade policies. Third world moving toward the industrialzied
nations...cheap labor polices for corporations. Capital moving out of
industrialized nations to places like China and Mexico and
India...yep...Corporations are doing it. It is these great movements that
are changing the face of the world today and our lives. Expand the trends
out and consider what kind of world this will be some day?
Corporations command such great resources that they are now entertwined
succinctly with government. What's good for GM is seen as good for the
USA...but wait, GM has gone global. See the problem?
Government is looking at jobs...while corporations are looking at cheap
labor...and two together have undermined what it is that makes us human and
is changing the world right before our eyes. The best intellectuals "sell"
us that everything is right and good [better than eskimos being sold
ice]...that this is all just 'change' as they dampen our minds.
'Coming evil' is a soul-less world, where our job is our lives 'owned' by a
soul-less, moral-less, entity that could care less for the human essence,
where nations have vanished, heritage and a sense of connectivity and
higher purpose gone, and the streets probably look pretty much like Blade
Runner or mabye Soylent Green scenes and everyone looks like they are from
Brazil. Beauty and love will be only a memory.
