唔,我想in front of是在位置的前面,所以说是相对静止；ahead of是能力,技术等等在别人的前面,也就是领先别人,超出别人,所以说是动态的行为.这是我的理解.
所谓相对静止的概念，是in front of 好像在显示一幅画、一张照片，在描绘一刹那的相对位置状态，所以带来的感觉是“静止的”，也是与空间有关的。

in front of 与 ahead of 都可用指出一个队列的人或事物的前後关系，即表示 before之意。

ahead of 除了用於指出空间的相对位置，也会用於时间上的差距。
譬如，ahead of time, ahead of schedule 表示早了
另外，ahead of 有行动方向和比拼的感觉，像是在看影片。They are walking ahead of us. 他们走在我们前面，也就是双方都向同一方向进发，只是他们走在我们前头。所以说它是比较动态的。
相比这句:They are walking in front of us. 尽管他们在我们前面走，但我们却可以处於一个静止的状态，看见一群人在我们面前走过。
