I like playing football and taking photos in my spare time. But I prefer playing basketball. I think it is one of the best ways of keeping us strong and healthy. When I play basketball, I always forget my worries so I like playing basketball with my friends after school and on weekends. Playing basketball is also a team work so it is good for us to train our cooperation with others. I also like watching NBA on TV because it is interesting and I can learn a lot from it. My favourite basketball player is Yao Ming. I want to be a famous basketball star like him when I grow up.

Everyone has a hobby and, my hobby is playing basketball.
A lot of the people in the world like basketball. My favorite sport is also basketball. I like playing basketball so much that whenever I have time, I will play with my friends.
If you ask me why I love playing basketball so much? I can tell you as follows:
Firstly, Playing basketball makes me relax. As a senior student in Grade Two, we all have a dream, that is, trying to go to a good university. In order to make the dream come true, we have to spend most of our time in study. So, we are under great pressure. By playing basketball, I can forget the study pressure and, feel tatally relax, then, I can focus on myself on my study again.
Secondly, playing basketball is a good exercise to keep health. an hour’s exercise a day keeps us health a lifetime. Every day after school, I will play basketball, it keeps me health and makes me very strong.
Lastely, playing basketball needs team work, in order to win, everyone of a team must cooperate well. So playing basketball lets me know how to cooperate with orther.
So, because of the three benefits of playing basketball, I like it very much. I admire Yao Ming and, want to be famous like him someday.
