put on和take on如何区分?

put on穿上;上演;增加;假装;使…上场
take on承担;呈现;具有;流行;接纳;雇用;穿上
只有"穿上"这个意义有些相近.
但,take on主要指物体呈现(面貌等);与put on差别很大.
