1.该句想要表达的意思是“与古代不同，现在越来越多人送他们的孩子上学。”
第一处错误为“differing from”,固定搭配错误。应改为“different from”。
第二处错误为“the ancient time”应改为"ancient times".
第三处错误为语义错误。前后对比的应该是同类事物，句中与the ancient time相比的应该是现在而不是现在的人，应在第二句前面加上“now” 对应前后。
第四处错误为“let”，中式英语的错误。应改为“send”。整句应改为：
