on表示特定日子用于表示星期几，具体某一天或某一天的早、午、晚或用在节日前 如on Sunday morning /on christmas Eve/on my return to China/
前面如果有every、this、that、these、those等不定代词修饰时前面不加任何介词。 例：I ate two eggs this morning(前面不用加介词）

时态用什么就要看你所表达的意思了 in the afternoon也不一定用现在时The boys played basketball in the afternoon.男孩们下午打球了。/It will rain in the afternoon（this afternoon）.下午会下雨 其实都一样的 语言很灵活
