Never seek to tell thy love,
Love that never told can be;
For the gentle wind does move
Silently,invisibly.
千万不要表达你的爱
爱是尽在不言中
犹如那股拂过的清风
无声地、不留一丝痕迹

I told her all my heart;
Trembling,cold,in ghastly fears,

A traveller came by,

注：其实,威廉布莱克曾经对这首诗歌修改过,第一行的seek 改为 pain ; 最后一行He took her with a sigh.改为 Oh was no deny.不知为何,后来印刷的版本却没有修改（附图）
