I think it was not correct since the verb tense should be simple past in the clause.I understand that you wanted to emphasize your feeling by mentioning time,however,it may not be a common expression in English(as what I have learned so far).If it is necessary to mention time here,I will write the sentence like this:" I am sorry for disturbing you so long".
