我没看懂你所说的.你这触及到一个很高级的问题.
both的词性在不同词典上是有些差别的,即便是公认的权威词典,我也不清楚为什么.
但是both在朗文和牛津词典的词性就是determiner,限定词.和pron.代词.
有人说,both of 后接名词或者代词,但是名词前必须有限定词the .
我觉得不准确.请看下面的例句.
e.g.
Both women were French. 两名妇女都是法国人.
Both the women were French. 两名妇女都是法国人.
Both of the women were French. 两名妇女都是法国人.
这三句是牛津词典上面的例句.我是原班不动抄上来的.
但是如果在中国的小考试,一般你注意这一点就行了.其实这要看你任课老师的理解.
大型正规的英语考试不会考察这一点.
