Chinese New Year and the Mid-autumn Festival
China has many traditional festivals,two of which are Chinese New Year and the Mid-autumn Festival.Take Chinese New Year for example,it's the most important festival in China.It's the first day of the first lunar month,but the holidays last for more than ten days.During Chinese New Year,all the family members meet at home and have a big meal which is called Tuanyuanfan in Chinese.Parents give lucky money to their children on the Eve night.People especially children play firecrackers.They go to see their relatives and friends.And the Mid-autumn Festival,which is the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month,is another important festival in China.People eat mooncakes for it.But the holiday is far shorter than the Chinese New Year.I prefer the Chinese New Year,for I can get lucky money and have a long holiday.
